What is swinging?

Swinging involves social and sexual intercourse with someone other than your mate, boyfriend or girlfriend, excepting the traditional one-on-one dating. It may be defined as recreational social sex. The activity may occur at a swing party, a couple-to-couple encounter, a liaison or with a third person in a threesome. Though single men and women may be involved, it is primarily an activity of couples.

 
What sort of people are swingers?

Swingers come from all walks of life, in all shapes, sizes, ages, economic levels, races & nationalities. On average, most couples are in their late twenties to late forties, Caucasian, middle to upper class and married. Common similarities among swingers include a sense of adventure, a love for new experiences, meeting new friends, honesty, open minded, respect for others and most of all, a very strong, secure and loving relationship with their partner. Swingers, in general, are fun loving people that seem to enjoy life to the fullest.


What is a Swing Club?

Swing clubs are defined as any organization, formal or informal, which exists to provide swinging activities. Swing clubs exist in a variety of forms. These include Swing Clubs, Party Houses, Circles and Socials, Bars and Cocktail Lounges and Contact Services. All but the contact services may be on-premises or off-premises. Contact services work through the mail or telephone and rarely provide swing parties although they may promote group travel. Parties given by on-premises swing clubs may have from forty to eighty or more couples, though sixty couples is typical.

 
On-premises mean that sexual activity occurs at the party. Off premises swing clubs, cocktail lounges and bars help you to meet other swingers. Swinging then occurs elsewhere, with the interested couples and singles responsible for the arrangements. The arrangements include who is to be invited, the location, date and time. ​The on-premises party offers a wide possibility of social interaction, selection, potential of swinging with others in a foursome, threesome, one-on-one, or in a group scene. Bisexual as well as heterosexual swinging is possible, principally among women. And the club on-premises party offers this without pressure in a structured environment. Private, semi-private and group rooms are generally provided to meet the desires of virtually everyone. Heated pools, Jacuzzis and hot tubs may be available to accentuate the social environment.


Do I need to fill out a membership application before entering?

Yes, we are a private club and upon your initial visit, you will need to apply for membership. The application should be filled out before your visit and you can access it by clicking on the Application & Registration button on the location page. During the application process you will be asked to provide a photo if you prefer not to submit one of your faces feel free to substitute a tasteful photo of anything you want. During your first visit, you will be permitted as a temporary member and upon approval, you will be entered into our private data system so that the next time you come in all you have to do is present your proper ID. Receiving our weekly newsletter is an indication that your membership has been approved.


Since you are a BYOB, can I come in if I am under 21?

You must be 21 or older. 


What type of ID must I provide to get in?

A valid government issued photo ID or passport will be accepted.         


Can I bring my own cooler?

Yes, a small one that fits under a table.

 
Do I need to bring my own stuff to mix my drinks?

We provide cups, ice, juices and sodas free of charge.. Or you may bring your own mixes if you prefer.

 
Is there a dress code?

Yes.

Proper neat attire must be worn we prefer that all men visiting dress to impress by wearing:

A nice clean, pressed collared shirt, designer t-shirts are permitted only if worn  under a sports coat or dress jacket

Pressed dress slacks or dressed jeans are acceptable (ABSOLUTELY NO WORK JEANS, SWEAT PANTS OR SHORTS ARE PERMITTED)

Dress shoes or boots should be clean and well maintained, sport shoes are only permitted if CLEAN & WELL MAINTAINED

Clean dress, non-frayed, cowboy hats and Fedoras are permitted as are clean well maintained blocked, sized baseball caps, however "TRUCKER" caps, mesh caps, snap caps are not permitted

We suggest that ladies dress in accordance with the nightly theme, but it is never required. We encourage women to dress neat, clean sexy classy & provocative.

Proper hygiene, appearance & attitude will also be taken into considerations

Are single men allowed??
Yes, on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday nights at our Hempstead location and Friday night only at our South location, however please check out our rules & regulations for single men listed below.

What is expected of us as a couple once we enter the club?

Other than follow the rules, and as corny as it sounds, nothing is expected other than we want you to have fun, feel welcomed and comfortable. Here at the Pendulum we have developed a wrist band identification system which will allow you to declare your interest(s) and observe what others are comfortable with. We are really excited about this system and believe that this idea will become common practice in all other lifestyle events and clubs in the future.
